Our founder Stacey Kehoe was ecstatic to be featured in the innovative #WomenInSMEs campaign designed by SME Loans, highlighting some of the nation’s most dynamic female entrepreneurs, business owners and emerging talent in the lead up to international women’s day.

The firm’s #WomenInSMEs campaign was launched as a way to shine a light on talented business owners, hoping to inspire young women to take the first step into the world of entrepreneurship. The inspiring young women over at SME Loans starting out in the fintech industry were eager to find out the struggles of female business owners, ranging from the gender pay-gap to access to funding – all while celebrating the achievements and ability to overcome underrepresentation.
Unbelievably, women lead just 19% of SMEs across the UK – and so sparked the #WomenInSMEs campaign. The campaign has already featured some incredible female business owners, with Stacey proud to join the ranks, discussing her own experience starting Brandlective Communications, and our passion as a business for equality.
In the interview, Stacey covers everything from starting Brandlective Communications, her advice to young women thinking of starting their first companies and her ongoing passion for equal opportunities.
Stacey also covers our #1milliondays campaign, alignment with goal 10; Reduced Inequality, of the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals, discussing how we are supporting women in business across the globe.
Thanks again to Liz Rosling at SME Loans for asking Stacey to feature in this inspiring campaign.
